Ivy is currently a comic artist and animation student at Middle Tennessee State University. Before transitioning to full time comic artist, she was originally pursuing career in meteorology, specifically research and operational. When she realized it’s not the path she needs to be on, she had to leave the prospect of career in meteorology behind. The transition to comic art career and running a blog on creating comics traditionally was not easy, and it took a lot of soul-searching.

Inspired by her childhood in Southeastern United States and various modern urban legends, her current project is Birmingham Legends, urban horror fantasy in future Birmingham, Alabama.

Outside her work, she enjoys playing chess, going outdoors, and observing severe storms.

She is part of queer writer community as a AFAB aromantic asexual comic creator.
